DREJ-25 Two-roll  Precise Vertical Bar Straightener 

1.It is usually used for straightening round metal rods ,such as brass rods, iron rods, and stainless steel rods,etc.

2.Due to its special structure,it has the functions of both straightening and surface grinding  

3.different specifications and sizes are used for rods of different size ranges.Strictly speaking, rods of different materials require different straightening roll surface curves.

I. Technical parameters

(1)Specification range for the rods:

       Φ8cm-Φ25mm, made of brass, carbon steel, stainless steel, etc.

(2) Straightening speed:

       5 to 35m/minute(with frequency control)

(3)Straightness of the rods after rough straightening: ≤3 mm/m,

      Straightness of the rods after final straightening: ≤1 mm/m,

      with no uneven wave or evident scratch on the surface.

(4) A high speed and a low speed are offered for the electric lifting and lowering of the upper straightening roll. Hydraulic pressure is applied for gap eliminating.

(5) Hydraulic pushing for the lower roll, overpressure protection applied;

(6)Total installed power: 48kw;

(7)Scale indication is provided for adjustment of the straightening roll angle.

II. Configuration

(1) Host machine of the two-roll vertical straightener, 1 set;

(2)Technical lubrication oil tank, 1 set;

(3)Hydraulic station, 1 set;

(4)Electric control box and operating console, 1 set;

(5)Front and rear rod racks, 1 set.

There are two operation modes for the two-roll vertical precision straightener, namely, the off-line operation mode and the on-line operation mode. Under the former, the workers firstly load the rods onto the feeding rack, and spread them onto the slope of the feeding table , and then the rod-allocating mechanism moves the rods into the rod-feeding mechanism; the feeding mechanism will stop operating when the rods are sent into the straightener; later, the clamping-an-delivering mechanism starts working when the rods are moved out of the straightener, and once the rods leave the clamping-an-delivering mechanism, the latter will stop operating and await orders. Afterwards, the straightened rods are unloaded into the rod-gathering rack through the split rod-gathering conduit box, and are finally taken out by the workers.

Management mode of the off-line operation mode offers a selection of two operating statuses, the manual operation status and the mixed operation mode. When the former is adopted, the first operation step could only be carried out with a manual command. This operation mode is very suitable for single-machine modulation, troubleshooting, trainings for new operators, etc.

The on-line operation mode is usually applied with the assistance of the continuous drawing machine production line.
